Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the permitted and prohibited uses of the Villip communication platform. All customers must comply with this AUP in addition to the Terms of Service.
2. Prohibited Content
You must not use the Service to transmit content that:
- Is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, or harassing
- Constitutes unsolicited commercial messages (spam)
- Contains malware, phishing links, or fraudulent content
- Infringes intellectual property rights of any third party
- Promotes illegal activities, violence, or discrimination
- Impersonates another person or entity without authorisation
3. Prohibited Activities
You must not:
- Send messages without valid recipient consent where required by law
- Use the Service to conduct number harvesting or phone number scraping
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures
- Resell or redistribute the Service without a written reseller agreement
- Use the Service for any purpose that violates telecommunications regulations in the destination country
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or connected networks
4. Messaging Compliance
You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable messaging regulations, including but not limited to the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and equivalent legislation in destination countries. This includes maintaining opt-in records and honouring opt-out requests.
5. Monitoring and Enforcement
Villip monitors traffic patterns to detect abuse. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this AUP, with or without prior notice depending on severity. We may also report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities.
